Welcome to The Savvy Expat - Peru! Based on our 3+ years of living here, we would like to bring to you our stylish lifestyle in Lima.
Inside the Blog:
After staying with me for a month, my mother is fearful that I'll never return to the States. She decided that she liked having lunch served to her, and that in one month, she never did dishes. When we did eat out or order in, the food was always great and cheap. She enjoyed her day at Yaku Spa (see Services/Activities). While she could have done without the traffic, she saw the greatness of my lifestyle.
Sorry, mom, I'm here to stay for a while. My husband, baby daughter, and now mother-in-law are living way too well to return to DC, where for my monthly entertainment budget, I get to have one dinner in a nice restaurant.
Lima isn't an obvious city though. You need to know where you're going, and what to order once you're there. But, if you figure that out, you'll probably stay as well.
I created this blog to help you get there a little faster.

It's one thing for me to insist that something is great or not, but it's helpful to have your feedback! Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
